With brighter days on the way, they offer the perfect excuse to pause, breathe, and enjoy a touch of quiet luxury.

The experience has already begun to attract great attention. We had the pleasure of welcoming Kate de Moulder, an award-winning Irish journalist, who described her stay in the Travel Business Post as: “For the weary traveller, a whole corridor of rooms have their own personal hot tubs, where one can sip Champagne while looking out on the flat land that makes this area such a horsey hotspot.” It’s a scene that captures exactly what these rooms are designed for — slowing down and soaking in the surroundings. She goes on to describe the atmosphere in more detail, noting: “Our room opens out to a terrace with hot tub, which bubbled away nicely and tempted us upon arrival. Beyond that, the scent of freshly-cut grass announced that summer was near.” The comfort continues inside, with Kate highlighting how “warm lighting, a full mini-bar and 100 per cent cotton sheets made for a luxurious stay, while pin-drop silence made for restful sleep.”

Reflecting on the wider experience, Kate summed it up perfectly: “For a trip where equal priority is given to both exploration and relaxation, voco is pretty hard to beat… upon leaving, our cortisol levels were decidedly lower. Is it even possible to be stressed in a hot-tub?”
