BOOK NOW“This was our second visit to Goffs, the 1st was with a group and this time as a couple. I really can’t recommend this place enough. The meal alone is worth the cost of the overnight package and then you get a home cooked breakfast of your choice. They were so lovely, friendly and welcoming. They made the stay unforgettable. They both went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. I most definitely will be coming back here again. “We visited the Club at Goffs today for breakfast as non-residents and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious, there was an excellent choice on the menu and it was great value for money. The staff were lovely and thank you to Sarah on reception for looking after us and Simona in the restaurant who was so friendly and did a great job telling us about the lunch and dinner options in the hotel which we will definitely be back for soon! “Winner Alright. Recently opened Hotel with a superb restaurant. We were fortunate to have stayed here twice recently. Warm welcome with a glass of prosecco Nice Touch! The bedrooms are well-appointed….Classy decor, so much nicer than the bland decor one finds in the 4 & 5 star “Chain hotels”. The only item missing was a fridge. However, I note there is a vacant cupboard, so I expect fridges are on the way! All the team members were very friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. The main purpose of our trip was to repeat the superb dining experience that we had enjoyed 3 weeks previously. WOW 👌 – It was spectacular! We began with a selection of small plates, Oysters, Ham croquettes, Ox tongue tartlets, & a gorgeous chicken sausage….All were simply divine! We followed with the crab and scallop starters, both were excellent in both Flavour and presentation. We had the sharing plate of Roast Duck on a bed of chard with beetroot and blood orange – simply divine. DIdnt have dessert on this occasion but did on a previous trip, so I can confirm that they too hit the spot There is a good wine list that caters to all budgets. “The Club at Goffs – I loved it! I went for dinner with friends the last Friday night as I heard Derry & Sallyanne Clarke were involved in this business. When we first arrived, the outside was not inviting, but I do know it’s just newly opened and things take a while. All the staff were amazing, super friendly and made us feel so welcome. The restaurant itself looked nice although a little too bright for an evening meal, again feels like it’s not quite finished. The food was out of this world, we shared some starters and nibbles and for main course most people had the steak or the monkfish. I had the monkfish, OMG it was so full of flavour and even looked too good to eat, but I did. We all ordered desserts and tried each other’s, again amazing. You can see Sallyanne Clarke’s presence on the floor kept everything moving. I know it’s not l’Ecrivain but the main reason we booked it was because we knew the Clarke’s were involved and you could see it from the table settings, the staff, the food and much more. “Five of us had a family meal here and we were not disappointed, the food was absolutely delicious and service was extremely good. Between us we had Oysters, Ox Tongue, Beef Carpaccio, Scallops, Lamb and Beef Ribeye all accompanied with French Fries and mash. Drinks consisted of Wine, Irish Coffee, tea, Baileys Coffee and Cappuccino. We could not resist the dessert menu which was also quite varied. All of us enjoyed the meal and look forward to our next meal there, we wish Sally-Anne and Derry all the best with this venture and it is a great asset to the area and I for one am delighted to have such a lovely restaurant in Kildare.
